Pete Vanden Berg began working in construction in 1991 with family members involved in the trade. At that time Pete was also working as a full time police officer with the Lansing Police Department and built new homes as time permitted. By the late 1990's, the custom home building business was no longer a hobby and escalated into a full time business and Pete decided to take an early retirement from the Police Department in 2001.
Today, Pete focuses his time and effort on working with customers that want to build a home that best fits their needs and lifestyle with emphasis on design, quality and communication. Pete's business is a small hands-on operation and each project is given the time and attention that customers expect.
Pete is married to his high school sweetheart Lisa, who often assists customers with color and design selections. Pete and Lisa have three wonderful college-aged children and reside in Dewitt Michigan.
After constructing over 100 homes, Pete has the experience needed to take on your project. Never will you be asked to select from a series of “builder models” when designing your home. Our experienced craftsmen take tremendous pride in their workmanship and are in tune with working out details with each individual customer.
